Seller

Contract
These present terms constitute the contract of sale between the consumer or other client using the e-store at thecandledust.be and The Candeldust BE or seller.
If you shop in our e-store, you agree to these terms.
Our e-store is not intended for buyers with reselling intentions. For wholesale inquiries please contact us at hello@thecandledust.be or go to the whole sale section on the page.
The Candeldust BE reserves the right to amend its prices and these terms at any time without prior notice. The Candeldust BE will not unilaterally amend prices or terms for orders already placed or contracts already concluded. 

Purchasing
Relevant product description and price are shown next to each product. All prices are given in euros and include VAT applied in Belgium. Select your desired products and add them to the cart, also selecting the quantity of the products. The contents of the shopping cart can be reviewed at any time by clicking on the cart icon at top of the page.
When all selected products are in your cart, move on to the next page and accurately fill in all the fields required for quick and prompt shipment. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
All orders submitted in TheCandeldust BEs e-store are shipped by Bpost and Post NL shipping partners.
You can make a card payment for your order via Stripe or PayPal and Bancontact. Stripe and PayPal are TheCandledust BE´s official providers of payment solutions certified by Visa and MasterCard.
Before proceeding to payment, make sure your selected products, amounts, and prices are correct.
Before selecting the payment method, you must agree to the terms and conditions of sale. Confirm your order and you will be forwarded to your selected form of payment.
Should you have any comments concerning your order, kindly write them under “Remarks” in your shopping cart.
After your payment has been confirmed, we will send you a purchase confirmation e-mail regarding your order.
Always check carefully that all of your inserted data is correct. Errors may cause a delay or even loss of your order.

Campaigns
Occasionally we offer special voucher based discounts. If you have such a voucher, enter under “Voucher” in your shopping cart relevant text exactly as it is written on the voucher and click “OK”.

Payment
You can pay for your order by card payment.
The card payment service is provided by Stripe and PayPal along with Bancontact. Stripe and PayPal support VISA as well as MasterCard credit and debit cards. Choosing card payment, you will be directed to Stripe’s or PayPal’s payment page where you can make your payment. Consumer’s right of withdrawal Pursuant to the law, consumers have the right to withdraw from relevant contract within 14 days as from receipt of their order if they return relevant products as unused and in unbroken/undamaged packaging.
The right of withdrawal only applies to consumers, i.e. natural persons, that conclude a transaction as not related to independent economic or professional activities. All other persons are not considered to constitute consumers.
The precondition for the right of withdrawal is handling of relevant products only in a manner that does not diverge from handling thereof at a physical store.
Consumers cannot use the right of withdrawal if they open a relevant sealed package and use a portion of the product which makes it impossible for the seller to offer the product to another customer.
NB: To preserve the right of withdrawal, open boxes and other packaging carefully, refraining from opening packages that are sealed for protection and where the removal of such a seal would damage the packaging.
If relevant products due to their nature cannot be returned by normal post, the consumer bears the costs of returning such goods.
The consumer must return relevant products to the seller within 14 days as from submission of the statement of withdrawal.
If you have withdrawn from the contract and sent back your ordered products, The Candledust will reimburse to you the amount paid for the products and your original delivery cost within 14 days as from receipt of the statement of withdrawal.
The consumer bears any delivery costs applied upon returning products. The seller will not reimburse the costs of a return delivery.

Legal remedies for consumers
If the object of contract is in non-compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract, the consumer may rely on relevant legal remedies provided by law: require performance of relevant obligation, withhold performance of an obligation which is due from the obligee, demand compensation for damage, withdraw from or cancel the contract, reduce the price in the case of delay of performance of a monetary obligation, demand payment of default interest.
The consumer has right to recourse to a body settling extra-judicial complaints and disputes. For relevant instructions refer to website of the Belgian Consumer Protection Board.

Quality
The Candledust always checks all products before dispatching them; however, should you discover that your received goods are damaged, refrain from using such goods and e-mail us or write us a letter as soon as possible, yet not later than within two months as from receipt of relevant products.
If your received products have defects due to our fault, we undertake to repair, replace, or reimburse the defective products within the same amount that you paid in our e-store.
Do not use damaged products. Use of damaged products is subject to the sole liability of the buyer. We cannot compensate or replace damaged products if the products have been used.
The seller is liable for any lack of conformity of a product which exists upon delivery of the product to the consumer.

Safety of candles
Always carefully follow relevant safety instructions when burning candles. Find safety pictograms and instructions for use also on the label under the candle container.
The candlewick must always measure 0.5 cm in length and be clean during lighting or burning. If the candle emits smoke or the flame is overly big, the wick is too long or is not clean. To burn a candle like this is dangerous and you should never do it. Put the candle out and cut the wick to its appropriate length.
Do not burn a candle more than 3 hours at a time. Trim the wick to 0.5 cm before you light the candle again.
Always place a burning candle on a heat resistant surface away from objects that can catch fire.
Be careful when moving a burning candle – the class may be hot.
Keep the burning candle out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not burn a candle in drafty area. Never leave a burning candle unattended!
