The Candledust premium powder candle sparks your creativity and lets it soar to great heights. The Candledust candle is a natural candle wax in powder form. Candledust is essentially as easy as 1-2-3:
Choose a non-flammable container with a diameter of at least 8 cm (this prevents the melted candle wax from sticking to the holder). Pour the Candledust into the container and place the wick in the powder. Let the tip of the wick stick out about 0.5 cm. Light it and enjoy.
Follow these simple yet very important burning rules to ensure a safe and pleasant burn of your Candledust candle.
• Find a suitable container
• Pour the sand candle into the container
• Insert the wick into the Candledust, light it, and enjoy
The diameter of the container in the photo is 13 cm, and we chose to light one wick. This keeps the container clean. Containers with a diameter smaller than 8 cm will collect melted wax and may need cleaning afterward. If you choose a container wider than 8 cm, you can pour out the powder at any time and put it back in later if desired. If you have chosen a shallow container, you can cut the wicks in half.
The burning diameter of one wick is 8 cm!
ALWAYS trim the wick to 0.5 cm before lighting the candle. This ensures the candle burns cleanly and does not smoke. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
The candle wicks in the bag are intended for use in a wider container (vase, bowl, dish) – anything fireproof (glass, metal) with a diameter of more than 8 cm.
Pour the candle sand into the container, place the wick so that about 0.5 cm sticks out above the surface, and leave 4 cm of free space on each side of the wick, including about 0.5 cm at the bottom.
This way, your chosen container stays clean and doesn't come into contact with melted candle wax. If you've chosen a lower container, you can cut the wicks in half. The burning diameter of one wick is 8 cm!
ALWAYS trim the wick to 0.5 cm before lighting the candle. This ensures the candle burns cleanly and without smoke. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
If the wicks are placed too close together (less than 8 cm apart), it increases the heat of the flame and causes the candle wax to melt faster. In that case, the wicks may sink into the melted wax.
When relighting a Candledust candle, first check if there is still enough wick left. If there is enough wick, light the candle just as you would a regular candle.
If the wick is used up, crumble the solidified wax into powder or discard the hardened part. Pour fresh Candledust on top of the broken wax and insert the wick(s) into the powder.
You can also add decorations you like (flowers, stones, etc.). Make sure the wicks are placed 8 cm apart and at least 4 cm away from any decorations. After all, the burning diameter of one wick is 8 cm!
Light the candle and enjoy! Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. ALWAYS trim the wick to 0.5 cm before lighting. This ensures a clean and soot-free burn.
With proper use, it is possible to use a Candledust candle without leaving any residue behind. Anyone who has candles or an old candle glass sitting unused can now easily refill it themselves!
Follow these simple yet very important candle burning rules to ensure a safe and pleasant experience with your The Candledust candle:
When burning your candle for the first time, let it burn until the melted wax pool reaches the edge of the glass. This ensures an even burn. It is recommended to follow this rule every time you burn a candle to get the most out of it.
ALWAYS trim the wick to 5 mm before lighting your-scented candles with natural fragrances. This prevents the wick from forming a "mushroom shape" and smoking. If the wick is not trimmed, the flame may become too large and produce smoke – burning a candle under these conditions is dangerous and affects the quality of the experience. If you notice the flame is too large or smoking, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight if desired. This prolongs the life of your candle.
Blowing out a candle can produce smoke – instead, dip the wick into the melted wax, straighten it, and re-center it for the next use.
Stop burning when there is 1 cm or less of wax remaining in your The Candledust candle.
Always burn a candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects. Be careful when moving a burning candle – the glass can be hot.
Keep a burning candle out of reach of children and pets.
Do not burn a candle in a draft.
Never leave a burning candle unattended!
If there is soot on the edge of the glass (because you didn’t trim the wick…), use a paper towel to gently wipe it off and clean the glass.
