You can make a base for a Candledust candle from almost anything: use coffee cups, small bowls, larger and deeper bowls, heat-resistant jars, etc., for example. If you don't have anything suitable at home for a while and a special event is coming up, it pays to visit second-hand shops with an open mind - you can often find incredibly beautiful and unique pieces there, and besides, recycling is totally in.

The great advantage, innovation and charm of the Candledust candle lies in the fact that the owner can create a unique candle that reflects his or her personality and preferences. This makes it super easy to adapt Candledust to different parties, events, gatherings and interiors. The Candledust candle is an ideal decoration for both indoor and outdoor events.

It's super easy to use Candledust! You just need to choose a non-flammable holder. If you want the holder to stay clean, we recommend using a holder with a diameter of at least 8 cm - that way the melted wax won't stick to the edges and you can easily remove the solidified candle wax afterwards! Inside the Candledust tube is a small bag (attached to the cap) with 20 wicks. One wick burns for about 8 hours. Open the tube and pour the powder into a container of your choice. Take a wick from the pouch and place it in the powder. If you have chosen a larger container, you can use several wicks. Just keep in mind that multiple wicks will also give a larger melt diameter as the temperature rises. If you use a low holder and the wick protrudes more than 0.5 cm from the powder, cut it shorter (you can also cut the wick in half).

Moreover, you can decorate the Candledust candle however you like! For example, you can add flowers, figurines and so on to the powder. There are no limits to your creativity! Once the desired decorations and wick(s) have been placed, all you have to do is light the candle and enjoy the candlelight. Let your creativity run wild! Don't hesitate to use different holders and original decorations!

 

Be careful when extinguishing the candle: do not blow too hard, as the powder may fly out of the holder. If possible, use a candle cover.

Before re-lighting, check whether there is enough wick left. This is easy - just lift the solidified part out of the powder and see if there is any wick left. If so, you can add new powder and put the solidified wax part back on the powder, light the candle and enjoy the flame.

When the wick burns up, you have two options: discard the congealed candle wax or crumble it and add it back into the powder candle. If you want to extend the burning time of the candle, we recommend crumbling the candle wax, putting it back into the powder candle, adding new powder and inserting a new wick - and your new candle is ready! It's all super easy!

The second option is even simpler: when the wick burns up, discard the solidified candle wax. Pour new powder over the existing powder, insert a wick and light the candle!
