    How to make a candle?

    A powder candle is super easy! Find a suitable container and pour the powdered candle into the container. Insert the wick into the powder, light it and enjoy!

    Pour the powdered candle into a non-flammable container. For one wick, consider an area with a diameter of 5 cm (1.96 in). Several wicks can be used on wider containers but also consider an area with a diameter of 5 cm (1.96 in) between wicks. Make sure that the tip of the wick is 0.5cm (0.19 in) visible from the powder and light the candle.

    How to change wick?

    There are three ways you can use it again:

    • Crush the hardened wax into powder, pour new powder on top and insert the wick into the powder, so you get a completely new and fresh candle.

    • If you have enough wick left, use it like a normal candle, just light the candle again.

    • Throw away the hardened wax and place a new wick in the powder.

    Does The Candledust float on water?

    Yes, slowly pour the powdered candle into the water.

    Make sure that there is a thick layer of candledust between the water and the bottom of the wick!!

    Are all the wicks the same?

    No, The soul of the candle is its wick. To achieve maximum and clean burning results, we use different wicks in our products. Please always use the wicks provided with the candle.

    Do you have scented and unscented candles?

    Yes, we have a selection of scented candles, coloured and unscented candle powder.

    In fear of allergies?

    Our candles are also suitable for people who are sensitive to smells or have allergies. We have received a lot of feedback from customers that our candle does not trigger allergy attacks or headaches.

    All scents used are IFRA certified. 

    Can we use candles outside?

    Yes,as long as weather conditions allow it. This means that it's not too windy or there aren't too many precipitation.

    Is a powder candle cheaper than a traditional candle?

    From 25kg (55.11 lb) of candle powder, you can create 60-80 candles burning simultaneously, just like the ones you see in the picture above. The burn rate for one candle per hour is 4 grams (0.0088 lb). This means that if you use 400 grams (0.88 lb)of candle powder to make one candle and burn it for 1 hour and then extinguish it, you will still have most of candle powder left. Depending on how the candle is handled, you can reuse the remaining wax many times over.
